What’s Phase?

In the "Education Package", 7 Phases have been set depending on how the target people interact with sport and community/society.
The targets can gradually deepen their knowledge about "the values of sport" and "anti-doping rules" through education sessions and/or activities.
After achieving behavior change, they can move on to the next Phase.

Be fair to sport

Values-based

Fairness Perspectives

  • I know the word "Fairness".
  • I can explain and share what fairness is.

Power / Values of Sport Perspectives

  • I can explain and share what I like about sport.
  • I can explain what the "power of sport" is.

Rules-based

  • I know the World Anti-Doping Code is the rule for all sports and for all countries.

Be fair to you

Values-based

Fairness Perspectives

  • I can act to respect others (opponent) and teammates through sport.
  • I know fairness matters not only to myself, but also to the opponent.
  • I know fairness is the fundamental element of the Olympic Value (i.e. Excellence, Friendship, Respect).
  • I can act as fair by considering the opponent.

Power / Values of Sport Perspectives

  • I can explain and share why sport has power (values).
  • I respect the value of sport cherished by others influencing each other's value in positive way.

Rules-based

  • I know that the Anti-Doping Rule exists to protect fairness in sport as well as to protect the athletes' right to participate in clean sport and the level playing field.

Fairness Perspectives

Power / Values of Sport Perspectives

  • I can take my practical action to protect the power (values) of sport.

Rules-based

  • I know there are 6 "Athlete's Roles and Responsibilities" to comply with the Anti-Doping Rules.
  • I know there are 10 Anti-Doping Rule Violations.
  • I know Doping Control procedure and athlete's roles and responsibilities as well as athlete's right at Doping Control.

Values-based

Fairness Perspectives

  • I express own opinion on fairness by understanding there are various perspectives towards fairness depending on different capacity or viewpoint.
  • I know athlete's behaviors influence spectators.

Power / Values of Sport Perspectives

  • I can suggest a practical action to protect the power (values) of sport.
  • I know "winning" and "being a Real Champion" have different meaning.

Rules-based

  • I understand 6 "Athlete's Roles and Responsibilities" and also athlete's "Strict Liability" and "burden of proof" to be established.
  • I can explain 10 Anti-Doping Rule Violations to teammates.
  • I know what consequences (I like individual sanction, social influence) could be followed by violation.
  • I can gather the necessary information as athlete and explain it to others.

Rules-based

  • I can explain and share with others what athletes have to do in order to prove they themselves are clean.
  • I can observe and establish my Strict Liability.
  • I know my behavior as athlete to prove sport is clean and I can share it with others.

  • I can disseminate message to society regarding the significance of Anti-Doping based on the values of sport and I can contribute the Anti-Doping Movement.
